| Sister Worthington's aunt, uncle and cousins were on their way to Phoenix when they fell behind schedule and found themselves in Albuquerque on a SUNDAY! So we got permission from the mission president to get Sister Worthington's ward info for them. It turned out to be stake conference, and after a bit of a wild goose chase, the Newtons found Sister Worthingon! It sounds like Sister Worthington was in shock but happy to see her loved ones. My favorite part of the story: Her Aunt Kate gave Sister Worthington a hug and said, "You can do this!" I know Sister Worthington can and will continue to do a great job on her mission, and I know that this show of love and support will only help to strengthen her commitment and faith. We just had a fast for Sister Worthington last Sunday, and I don't think this just happened by chance. Heavenly Father is so mindful of His children. And I am so grateful to know He is watching over and helping our missionary! What a blessing. | |||
